Minneapolis Cityscape Engagement Session

When Carter reached out to me about shooting her engagement session, I knew exactly where to take them! They wanted some city vibes and a modern, urban feel to their photos. We met up for a golden hour session in Northloop in Minneapolis and took advantage of all the industrial buildings and golden light around us. I love how these turned out! They even brought their dog, Rhubarb to join them for some photos. She did great! Pets are always welcome to come along to your session, especially if you feel like they will make it a more enjoyable experience for you. After all, engagement sessions should be centered around having fun, connecting with your partner, and being yourself.

Carter also chose to bring a bouquet of flowers to hold during some photos. Great tip for someone who feels worried about what to do with their hands during the session!

After we finished up bopping around north loop and downtown, we headed to Boom Island nearby to get some photos of Carter and roan an, and of course rhubarb relaxing on a picnic. They brought a bottle of champagne to pop, and we decided to do some in the grassy areas surrounding Boom Island. It was some say to capture their love, they are clearly best friends!
