Erin and Ben’s Classic, Timeless & Traditional Summery Wedding
Erin and Ben have dreamed of hosting an incredible, timeless and traditional wedding for years, so when they asked if I would capture it, I was so excited!
They got ready in a hotel near their venue with their bridal party and close family. The anticipation for Erin and ben's first look grew with time. It ended up being such a sweet moment at the altar! Erin chose to have a first look with her dad, and her mother helped her get into her dress. Erin also chose to have a first look with her bridesmaids and their reactions were so heartwarming. Her bridal party was so supportive and were the total hype woman for her all day.
After Erin and Ben put the finishing touches on their looks, Erin did her first look with her dad before heading to the ceremony.
Their ceremony was a shortened but intentional and heartfelt traditional Catholic wedding ceremony, which featured a gorgeous church with lots of natural light. Both and Erin and Ben had family and friends recite the readings. This church was near where Erin grew up, so it was a ceremony location close to her heart. You could see the love in Erin and Ben's faces when it was time to exchange their vows and they couldn't be more excited to make things official. After so many years together, they had dreamed of finally making this day come true!
Now that they were officially married, it was time to celebrate! After I took some bridal and family portraits at the altar of the church, we headed out on the party bus where we'd make a few stops. One for some fun drinks (Check out the fireball bucket pic!) and then we swung by where Erin and her two maid of honors grew up, just a few houses from each other. After a few pit stops and a toast from the groom, we parked the party bus in an open field by a gorgeous nature center for some bridal party portraits.
The rest of their day was full of eating, drinking and being merry. After a laid back and flowery cocktail hour, guests took their seats and they heard speeches from Erin's dad, Ben's best man and Erin's maid of honor.
