Palisade Head|North Shore Elopement

If you haven't thought about eloping up at the North Shore, you NEED to. Palisade Head is such a magical hidden gem of Minnesota!

Lauren and Eric are recent newly weds and renewed their vows at this styled shoot. I really wanted to capture a couple that was laid back and OOZING good energy and love! I went to college with Lauren and I knew they were just the couple to hang out with at Palisade Head.

We met up in the parking lot right as golden hour started to happen and hiked around about half a mile to scout out this little corner of the park. The view was too epic to pass up!

We had this little piece of Palisade Head all to ourselves. It was the perfect place for them to giggle the evening away while I snapped some photos of them.

Look at how amazing Lauren’s hair looks? That’s all thanks to the magical Alyssa Lovdahl, of Lovdahl Salon and Studio in Duluth.

They slow danced as the sun set over the gorgeous Lake Superior! I love these two because you can tell they dance to the beat of their own drum. Fun fact, they are flipping a house and have found old prohibition era liquor bottles in their old walls!

We ended the night with a little picnic with macaroons, brie and rose!

They even brought their pup, George!

They read each other’s minds, I swear.

He swooped her up and gave me a big “Woohoo!” at the top of their lungs.

The two of them cozied up with a Pendelton blanket and watched the waves of Lake Superior crash against the cliffs of Palisade Head. Such a dreamy and intimate way to have an elopement experience!
